This information describes how we handle the personal data you provide through the inquiry form and the guest registration form on this website, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

What data we process
When you submit the inquiry form, we process:
- first name and surname,
- e-mail address,
- phone number (if provided),
- requested dates and number of guests,
- the content of your message.
Purpose and legal basis
We process the data solely to handle your inquiry and to communicate about a possible reservation. The legal basis is your consent and steps taken towards concluding an accommodation contract (Art. 6(1)(a) and (b) GDPR).
Retention period
We keep inquiry data for as long as necessary to handle your request and any follow-up communication, for no more than 12 months from the last contact. If a reservation is made, we keep the data for the period required by law.
Who we share data with
We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. It may be processed by our technical providers (e-mail service, hosting service and Google – Google Sheets for record-keeping) solely to deliver, store and handle the inquiry or reservation. Access to the data is limited to the controller.
Registration of accommodated guests (statutory record)
If you stay with us, we are required by law to keep a record of accommodated guests (a “guest book”) and, for foreign nationals, to fulfil the reporting obligation towards the foreign police. For this we process, via the registration form:
- first name and surname, date of birth and nationality,
- type and number of the identity document,
- address of residence,
- for foreign nationals also the purpose of stay and visa number (if required),
- the dates of stay and contact details (e-mail, phone).
Legal basis: compliance with a legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR) — in particular Act No. 565/1990 Coll., on local fees (tourist tax), and Act No. 326/1999 Coll., on the residence of foreign nationals (reporting obligation and guest book). Providing these data is a legal requirement; without them we cannot provide the accommodation.
Recipients: the Police of the Czech Republic and the relevant municipal authority to the extent stipulated by law. As processors we use an e-mail service provider and Google (Google Sheets) for record-keeping.
Retention period: the guest book is kept for 6 years from the last entry (Act on the residence of foreign nationals); tourist-tax data for the period required by tax and accounting regulations. After these periods expire, we delete the data.
Your rights
You have in particular:
- the right to access and rectify your data,
- the right to erasure (“the right to be forgotten”),
- the right to restrict processing,
- the right to object and to withdraw consent,
- the right to lodge a complaint with the Czech Data Protection Authority (uoou.cz).

Cookies
This website does not use marketing cookies. For anonymous traffic statistics we use the self-hosted tool Umami, which stores no cookies and collects no personal data — the data is aggregated and stored on our own server (therefore no cookie consent is required). The website otherwise loads only necessary external resources (OpenStreetMap map tiles, fonts). The map and gallery may store technical data necessary for their operation.
